Ryan Reynolds And Blake Lively Hit The Red Carpet For ‘Deadpool’ Screening; Reynolds Talk About First Date With Lively And Joys Of Fatherhood

Actor Ryan Reynolds attended the "Deadpool" fan screening with wife Blake Lively. This is the first appearance of the celebrity couple together since welcoming their first child.

Chanel Haute Couture dolled up the celebrity mom for the event in a jeweled and satin paneled dress. Her husband, on the other hand, looked dapper in a polka-dot shirt and navy suit.

Reynolds and Lively attended the screening together and hit the red carpet on Feb. 8, Monday. Their presence marks their first joint appearance since becoming proud parents to a daughter, James.

Daughter James was born in December 2014. The couple married in September 2012 after having met on the set of another action hero movie the "Green Lantern."

"She wept and cried when she saw my makeup," said Reynolds. The handsome actor shared that while his daughter knew what he looked and sounded like, she must have thought her father looked like a fried testicle.

Reynolds also praised his wife for her impressive diaper-changing skills. "My wife can do it when the baby's running, which is spectacular. She is the David Copperfield of bodily functions." Reynolds said as cited by Us Magazine.

The "Deadpool" lead star shared in an interview with Entertainment Weekly how he met his now-wife, Lively. He also recalled how his relationship with the stunning actress began after meeting on the set of the mentioned movie.

"We went on a double date; she was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl," he said. Reynolds also mentioned that it was the most awkward date for the respective parties because there were just fireworks coming across.

In the same interview, Reynolds said that he truly worships her daughter after having him wrapped around his finger. "She says 'dada' and I will walk through a cement wall to get her," Reynolds said.

The celebrity actor told People Magazine that he grew up with four brothers so he wouldn't mind having nine daughters. "I would be thrilled. Really, like I genuinely would be," Reynolds said.

Part of the reason why Reynolds does not want to have boys is because he does not want a crazy house having experienced it with his own brothers. He said he wants his house to be normal.
