Kanye West ended his very busy week in New York with a bang. After debuting his upcoming album, "The Life of Pablo," his video game, "Only One: The Game," and his Yeezy Season 3 collaboration with Adidas at NYFW, Kim Kardashian's husband debuted a couple of "TPOL" tracks on the Melissa McCarthy-hosted episode of "Saturday Night Live."
West was submerged in the spotlight as her performed his "SNL" opener, "Highlights." According to Rolling Stone, West stood alone on stage for a minute as her performed a part of the intro, "Low Lights," before segueing into "Highlights."
West then brought out guest performers Young Thug, El Debarge, Kelly Price, and The-Dream to join him on stage, as reported by Billboard.
Later in the episode, Kanye played another track from "The Life of Pablo." West brought "Ultralight Beam" to life with a triangular backdrop and a choir clad in denim. Echoing his presence in the track, West shuffled on the side of the stage to share the spotlight with his guests The-Dream, Price, Kirk Franklin, and Chance the Rapper.
As the performance came to a close, West managed to say onto the microphone, "Kanye West dot com right now, Tidal streaming right now," an indication to fans that "The Life of Pablo" had finally been released.
However, it seems as though Kanye's plate wasn't full enough - he was able to squeeze in some time to shoot a sketch for the night's episode too. Entitled "Kyle vs. Kanye," the skit sees Kanye in a "ballyhooed freestyle rap battle" against Kyle Mooney.
During the sketch, West was also able to perform the "Pablo" interlude, "I Love Kanye." Watch the full sketch below!
