Celebrity Moms: Blake Lively's Husband Ryan Reynolds Gives Best Labor & Post-Birth Advice

Ryan Reynolds may be celebrating the success of "Deadpool" right now, but there's also a big chance he's just at home taking care of wife Blake Lively and their daughter James.

On Wednesday, Reynolds stopped by "Late Night with Seth Meyers," where Ryan revealed some of the best in-labor and post-birth advice for all dads to use out there, as well as his experiences with fatherhood so far.

Seth Meyers, on the other hand, shared that he and his wife Alexi Ashe are expecting their first baby soon - and decided to get some fatherly advice from the "Deadpool" star.

"A lot of talking about how you act in the delivery room, and you were in the delivery room," Meyers started. "And you decided to play a song. What did you play when your wife was in labor?"

After some careful thought, Reynolds responded, "I jammed a little Marvin Gaye's 'Let's Get It On.'" Left wondering, Seth asked, "How did that go?"

"It was like steak knives came out of her eyes," Ryan laughingly answered. "Like, 'Are you f-king kidding me right now?!'"

Jokes aside, Ryan did commend his wife on being a "mercenary." He explained, "I think I just caught her right in the middle of a contraction. She was pretty much making jokes the entire time."

As for his advice after the baby's been born? Ryan Reynolds says, "Do the dirty work, man. You gotta do the diapers, you gotta do the middle of the night thing."

"A human being will exit your wife, so she's done enough. Just change the diapers and do all that," said Reynolds. Watch it below!
