Just days after a New York judge ruled against Kesha's legal plea to get out of her exclusive contract with music producer Dr. Luke, many celebrities and fellow singers reached out to show support for Kesha. In that long list of supporters, one celebrity - Taylor Swift - has gone above and beyond.
"In show of support, Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time," Swift's spokesperson told E! News.
Kesha's mother confirmed the news on her Twitter as well. "Taylor Swift has just generously donated $250,000 to Kesha, as a show of support during this difficult time. AMAZING," she wrote.

In her ongoing legal case, Kesha attempted to get the judge to grant a preliminary junction, which would basically allow her to release music without Dr. Luke's approval. Unfortunately, the judge denied the request and left Kesha in tears.
"As the Court recognized, Ms. Sebert [Kesha] has always had the ability to proceed with her career if she so chooses," Dr. Luke's lawyer said in a statement after the ruling was announced. "We remain confident that when all the facts are presented that Ms. Sebert's allegations against Luke will be shown to be completely false and were asserted solely to extort money and gain contractural leverage."
