British singer Adele has revealed she is ready to have a second child after she takes a hiatus from making music.
The "Skyfall" hitmaker is set to conclude her "Weekends with Adele" concert series at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this month. The end of the concert will also mark the completion of her Las Vegas residency and an indefinite hiatus for the crooner.
When asked what she plans thereafter, the 36-year-old singer said she plans to focus on her family and possibly having a second child.
"I'm looking forward to having loads of spare time to love on my kid, to love on my man, to love on another kid. I will miss you terribly," she said, according to The Sun's Bizarre column in Sunday's newspaper.
Turning Down Offers
Adele's plan to take a hiatus from music has been rumored for months now. In September, Life and Style Magazine reported that the singer turned down a $100 million offer to extend her Las Vegas residency to focus on her family. The magazine cited sources that were knowledgeable about the discussions.
In addition, Adele also told The Sun that she does not have any plans in the pipeline and plans to be away from the stage "indefinitely."
Adele's Family
The powerhouse singer shares 12-year-old Angelo with her former husband, Simon Konecki---the founder of Life Water and Drop4Drop. The pair were in a relationship that started in 2011 but ended in 2019. The pair finalized their divorce in 2021.
Adele and Konecki are continuing to co-parent their son.
In the same year Adele finalized her divorce, she began dating singer and sports agent Rich Paul, who founded Klutch Sports Group. The firm represents high-profile NBA players, including LeBron James.
For some time in September 2023, there was speculation whether Adele had already married Paul after she referred to him as "my husband" during interactions with fans at one of her concerts. The singer put an end to the rumors in August when she confirmed her engagement with the sports agent. She also recently flashed her massive engagement ring during her Las Vegas residency.
