Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen and boyfriend Joaquim Valente reportedly welcomed a baby boy, who is said to have been given a very special name related to nature.
The 44-year-old's son's middle name is River, which continues her adorable tradition of giving her children water-themed middle names. Bündchen's other kids are 12-year-old Vivian Lake and 15-year-old Benjamin Rein, whom she shares with her ex, retired NFL superstar Tom Brady.

The news about the couple's first baby together broke out on Feb. 5, 2025, and there was no mention of the baby at the time, including its gender or its name. Bündchen's first baby with Valente, a Jiu-Jitsu instructor, comes as the two have been dating since June 2023.
When Bündchen was first reported to be expecting her third baby, the Brazilian model said that she was "excited to embrace this new chapter openly." She added that she got so many positive messages and congratulations from people. Still, she noted that she wanted to keep it as private for as long as she could, which she admitted was a challenge, according to People.
Bündchen's relationship with Valente comes after she and Brady announced their divorce in 2022, and the model later had to deny cheating on the former NFL player with her current boyfriend after jokes made during a Netflix roast of Brady.
At the time, the model said, "That's a lit," adding that the situation frequently happens to women who are unfairly blamed for having the courage to walk away from an unhealthy relationship, as per Page Six.
On the other hand, Bündchen has mainly kept her romantic life with her new partner, Valente, out of the spotlight. In November 2024, the Brazilian model was photographed walking hand-in-hand with Valente on the beach in Costa Rica. At the time, she was fully showing her pregnant belly while wearing a white crochet coverup and a dark bikini.
Nature-Themed Middle Name
The water-themed middle name that the couple have given their first child together comes as Bündchen is an avid nature advocate. In September 2022, she said that a lot of people are putting toxins in rivers in every major city. She argued that we now have to realize the damage we are causing that jeopardizes the ecosystem that supports our lives.
The Brazilian model also visited the Xingu River region in her native country and has since started to find more ways to be involved in advocating for her cause. Bündchen said that she intends to bring hope and show the beauty of nature, as per US Magazine.
