A Peppa Pig-inspired theme park in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, officially opened its doors to the public on Mar. 1, 2025, and brings a host of activities and rides specifically designed for kids.

Julie Estrada, a spokesperson for Merlin Entertainments, said the theme park was designed specifically for children. Merlin Entertainments is the parent company of Peppa Pig Theme Parks, LEGOLAND resorts, Madame Tussauds, and several other popular attractions worldwide.

Similar to other parks in Central Florida and Gunzburg, Germany, the recently opened Peppa Pig Theme Park was designed with families with preschoolers in mind. Merlin Entertainments CEO Fiona Eastwood added that they hope families can create memories of a lifetime in their theme park.

Some of the things that families can expect to see at the theme park include five rides and nine different play areas. Estrade noted that there are not many theme parks that were designed to be a person's first theme park experience, according to USA Today.

She said that the recently opened Peppa Pig Theme Park provides a gentle ride experience, especially for those who are experiencing it for the first time. On top of being able to get on rides, there are also activities such as meeting Peppa Pig, watching live shows in Mr. Potato's Showtime Arena, and an indoor Cinema.

The theme park features readily recognizable characters and scenes that fans of the show will undoubtedly enjoy. It was also designed to feel similar to Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, as they share the same attractions and entertainment offerings.

The grand opening celebration of the theme park was filled with exciting and interactive moments that were designed to engage the crowd in attendance, particularly young children, the Focus Daily News reported.

Providing an Immersive Experience

Eastwood said that Merlin Entertainments had a chance to bring an iconic children's television character to life in a theme park in Texas that was truly special. She added that they did not only build the theme park but also works to preserve the magic of Peppa Pig through the immersive experience.

A news release about the newly opened theme park noted that it aims to be a top destination for young children and their families. It appeals mostly to visitors from the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond.

The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards accredited the Peppa Pig Theme Park as a Certified Autism Center. Park staff undergo autism sensitivity and awareness training to help with this cause, as per the Fort Worth Report.
