Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will forever be known for their roles in the "Twilight" movie adaptation. However, in a recent interview, the 29-year-old actor admits that starring on the franchise as Edward Cullen has left a lasting impact on the audience.
Fans are still longing to see Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson back on the big screens after the "Twilight" series came to an end in 2012. Twihard fans have always hoped to see both stars back together in front of the cameras, if not in real life.
Pattinson and Stewart's characters, however, seemed to get in the way of the actor's career. In a recent interview with French publication Numero Homme, the "Life" actor revealed that he is having a hard time breaking free from his role as Edward Cullen.
"I imagine the audience kept a certain image of me," he said, according to Gossip Cop. "I always feel like I have to prove myself. I did not have enough lead roles to make the people forget about it or to see me any differently."
Pattinson also admitted that despite his successful appearance in the popular vampire movie franchise, he continues to doubt himself. The "Remember Me" actor recalled to panicking just weeks before filming a new project.
Pattinson, however, shared that he likes to keep a certain balance when it comes to his private life. Pattinson also revealed that he sometimes goes "completely mad" when he searches for his name on the Internet and finds a number of rumors about him.
"Maybe one day I'll be seen differently," he added.
One of the latest rumors about Pattinson stated that he is having issues with his fiancé, FKA Twigs, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
Pattinson allegedly wanted to invite his ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart to his wedding with Twigs in order to be sure that he and Twigs can move on from their past and share a future together. Pattinson's statement allegedly came after Twigs issued an ultimatum on their relationship.
