Photo of Mom in a Cocktail Dress Breastfeeding Toddler at a Wedding Gained Social Media Attention

Haddas Ancliffe has just proven that a wedding and breastfeeding can go together. This breastfeeding mother was caught on camera breastfeeding her 18-month-old son wearing a lovely emerald green satin dress. She left a lot of people wondering—how did she do it?

Ancliffe is a new 21-year-old breastfeeding mom and a blogger who lives in Australia with her husband and son, Jonah. She attended her sister's wedding wearing a lovely emerald green, satin dress, donning a glamorous hairstyle.

According to the Yahoo News report, Jonah posed for the camera even while her son was breastfeeding. When she posted the picture on her Instagram account and on her blog, it garnered a lot of positive comments from people cheering her on, especially from other breastfeeding moms out there.

Ancliffe put a caption on the photo, "Just me and my baby having a drink. (Gotta do what you gotta do, wedding or not.)" Aside from this, she also hashtagged it as #NormalizeBreastfeeding.

The breastfeeding mother makes it her advocacy to make breastfeeding a normal act for other moms to follow suit. One of the followers of Ancliffe gave a really nice comment saying, "It's so nice to see you put your baby's needs before your own."

Other breastfeeding moms chimed in saying, "Keep on doing what you do and be strong. Let's normalize breastfeeding and make people realize how wonderful it is."

Of course, you can't always expect a positive reaction from everyone. While probably many breastfeeding moms posted words of encouragement, some went on shaming Ancliffe's breastfeeding in public. One of them said, "It's cool you're breastfeeding but don't need to show it to the world."

One man who seemed to be offended of breastfeeding in public said, "Haha why post this on Instagram. Do this in private." Still, there was one who felt ill at the photo.

Although this wasn't the first time that Ancliffe shared photos of her breastfeeding in public on her Instagram account, the breastfeeding mom has made her blog her platform for self-expression, according to Cosmopolitan. Some may consider Ancliffe as exemplifying taboos of motherhood, but then there are also those who think that she's doing a lot of breastfeeding mothers a huge favor.
