Chontel Duncan, a fitness model, is now making a lot of women envious of her six-packs considering that she's already 36-weeks pregnant. Photos of her pregnancy shape has made jaws drop, as you can still see her defined abs.
Yahoo reported that Duncan has always been a health advocate and she did not let her pregnancy get in the way of fitness. She has been documenting her pregnancy shape really well and had no qualms about posting them on her social media accounts.
Some praised her for being so fit while pregnant to the point that at 16 weeks, you can hardly see any baby bump on her body. There are those however who express concern and label her efforts as being "unhealthy."
One post of Duncan showed her and a friend who was only four weeks ahead of her pregnancy, but the latter's bump was way so big as compared to hers. She wanted to show the world that every woman's bout with pregnancy is unique, and one must not compare her pregnancy with that of another.
According to Metro, Duncan does not want to subscribe to theories concerning baby bumps. She does not believe that there's a hard and fast rule in the manner by which you carry your baby and that you don't get sick while pregnant because you're carrying a baby boy. Other theories she does not subscribe to include the saying that because she's not showing much, then her baby would be a small one.
Although Duncan is looking absolutely fit despite her pregnancy, she says that just like with other moms, she also experiences those pregnancy symptoms. She said, "Boy do I feel pregnant, this tummy is massive, heavy, makes sitting up so difficult, rolling over in bed a funny task, trying my sneakers hard work & my back has its moments where it throbs."
With Duncan being 36-weeks pregnant and still being so fit, she proves to be an inspiration to all moms out there. Pregnancy is certainly not a hindrance to fitness.
