'Fifty Shades Darker' Release Date, Cast News & Update: Dakota Johnson Receives Acting Nomination, Jamie Dornan's Neighborhood Becomes Tourist Sex Spot

"Fifty Shades" star Dakota Johnson has been recognized by a major award giving body for her performance in the first movie. On the hand, her co-star, Jamie Dornan, might not be thrilled to learn his hometown is now seen as a tourist sex spot.

On Tuesday, March 8, the nominations for this year's MTV Movie Awards was released and Johnson's name was among those cited for Breakthrough Performance. She's up against some stiff competition though as her fellow nominees include Academy Award Best Actress winner Brie Larson, "Star Wars" actors Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, comedienne Amy Schumer and "Straight Outta Compton's" O'Shea Jackson, Jr., per MTV.

Johnson and Dornan's "Fifty Shades of Grey" screen kiss was also nominated for Best Kiss at the MTV, which might put them ahead of the other nominees. Remember that steamy elevator kiss between Ana and Christian in the movie? Take another look at it in this video below:

Meanwhile, Dornan's quaint hometown in Chalford, Gloucestershire is reportedly becoming a hot sex spot for tourists. Mirror reports that fans of "Fifty Shades" have been visiting the actor's neighborhood before moving on to nearby Frith Wood where some visitors engage in orgies.

"The arrival of Christian Grey in Chalford has really ramped things up. It's almost like a Fifty Shades tour," a source told the news outlet.

Cosmopolitan reports that fans first drive up to the actor's million dollar house in Cotsworld village, where they hope to catch a glimpse of Dornan, if he's not working. The neighborhood is a relatively peaceful and family-friendly site, but then the fans drive a few meters away to a wooded area to engage in sexual activities.

Dornan and Johnson are currently on location in London to work on the sequel, "Fifty Shades Darker," which will be seen in theaters in February 2017.
