"Married at First Sight" Season 3 has come to an end but the drama stays there, especially after fan-favorite couple, Vanessa Nelson and Tres Russell revealed that they went on their separate ways. In a recent interview, Tres shares that he knew that Vanessa wasn't the girl for him.
All of "Married at First Sight" Season 3 couples have chosen to divorce their respective partners. While Vanessa and Tres decided to keep their marriage during the FYI reality series' episode titled "Final Decision," the two shared during the show's special reunion episode "Six Months Later" that they have already broken up.
During the said "MAFS" Season 3 episode, Vanessa blamed their lack of intimacy as the reason for their divorce. Tres admitted that he no longer felt the same way for Vanessa and gave up after constantly trying to prove himself for her.
In an interview with The Knot, "Married at First Sight" star Tres shared that he knew Vanessa wasn't the girl for her.
"It sounds cliché, but when you know, you know," he told the publication. "I don't think that there were any specific characteristics about Vanessa that made her for sure not the one for me, but there were signs that I just didn't like."
Tres, however, said that Vanessa was a great person, but he could not see himself living with her for the rest of his life. The "Married at First Sight" star also admitted that he had a messed up past, which may have gotten in the way of his relationship with Vanessa.
While the divorce rate of "Married at First Sight" couples remain higher than the success of pairing up strangers based on a series of tests, Chicago Tribune reported that the FYI reality series is already holding casting calls for Season 4.
According to the publication, "Married at First Sight" Season 4 is already looking for participants for the show's upcoming season. The show is reportedly looking for singles aged 25 to 40 years old.
