"Quantum Break" is set for release on the Xbox One and the Windows 10 PC on April 5. Developed by Remedy Entertainment, the game is highly anticipated because it offers a unique gaming style. It's not just an action-adventure shooter game; it's also a TV show.
When "Quantum Break" was first announced in 2013, gamers were excited about the concept's prospects to integrate two mediums. Will the developers achieve a good balance between gameplay and storytelling? Here are five facts you should know about "Quantum Break" before you play it:
1) You'll play "Quantum Break" as Jack Joyce, the protagonist.
You will go against Paul Serene, your former best friend, who will attempt to destroy the time travel experiment you've both been working on. As Jack, you will be equipped with firepower, but you will also have some supernatural abilities, which was developed during one time travel accident, per Gotta Be Mobile.
2) You'll encounter "Quantum Break" junction points.
As you play, you will come at junction points where important choices have to be made that will affect the game's outcome. These junction points will trigger scenes, which will be told from the viewpoint of the bad guys. Four episodes will be streamed for 20 minutes each and may be downloaded and kept on your hard drive for re-watching later.
