"GTA 6" by developer Rockstar Games is expected to usher in a host of big changes, especially if the new "Grand Theft Auto" coincides with the PS5 and XBox Two releases. Production for "GTA 6" reportedly is already starting and avid followers may very well see bigger than life features in the new "Grand Theft Auto."
Neurogadget reports that "Grand Theft Auto" fans have been waiting to see Rockstar Games take "GTA" to other cities, including Hong Kong and Los Angeles. A Tech Radar source, however, said that Rockstar Games will keep "GTA 6" within the U.S.
A move to non-U.S. territory for "GTA 6" will require not just an overhaul of maps but also of such basics as car brands. "Grand Theft Auto" fans will then have to wait another round before Rockstar Games takes "GTA" to London.
On the upside, "GTA 6" will give fans the biggest map to date among all iterations by Rockstar Games. According to Digital Spy, a factor that will require a lengthy production period for "GTA 6" will be the map size that Rockstar Games will give this "Grand Theft Auto."
Furthermore, while "Grand Theft Auto" enjoys a reputation for racy violence, Rockstar Games may up the rampage in "GTA 6." Neurogadget points out that the combat and violence in "Grand Theft Auto" has been the same since "GTA 3." Consequently, Rockstar Games may up that game in "GTA 6."
Projections of the "Grand Theft Auto" release date propose seeing "GTA 6" alongside PS5, XBox Two. Digital Spy suggests that Rockstar Games will not release "GTA 6" anywhere near 2018. Neurogadget says that 2020 is a marker being pegged for the "GTA 6" release date, and this may also see the advent of both PS5 and XBox Two.
A separate Parent Herald article reports that PS5 and Xbox Two may become available sooner than the popular 7-year projection. The Guardian cites Twitch's Emmett Shear in outlining the continually shortening upgrade cycles for both PS and Xbox, which may effect the release dates for both PS5 and Xbox Two. PS5Playstation5 made a historical assessment of Playstation console releases and places PS5 release date by November 2020.
Still, even without the added excitement over PS5 and XBox Two, the anticipated changes by Rockstar Games in "GTA 6" are more than enough. Similarly, seeing Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling figure in as new characters for "GTA 6" is a welcome bonus.
