"Bones" Season 11's second half will begin Thursday, April 14, at 8 p.m. on Fox and it will open eight weeks into Hodgins rehabilitation. But what else can viewers expect from the show's return? Below are the synopses to Episodes 11, 12 and 13:
The spring premiere of "Bones" Season 11 will kick off with Hodgins dealing with the aftermath of the explosion in the fall season finale. Season 11 Episode 11 entitled "The Death in the Defense," will present a different Hodgins and his bitterness about this condition will seep through his other relationships, as Parent Herald previously reported.
Spoiler TV reveals that Brennan's team will also handle the case of a public defender's death. The only problem is it's hard to track down the killer when she has multiple enemies.
In the next episode, "The Murder of Meninist," which airs April 21, Brennan's team investigates a car crash victim, who was a men's rights organization founder. The dead's wounds and bruises hint of domestic violence and this episode will push Brennan's buttons as the team contacts the victim's organization.
On the other hand, the April 28 episode of "Bones" Season 11 entitled "The Monster in the Closet" is about a social worker's death, which may have ties to a serial killer's case. Sara Rue will guest star as consultant and behavioral analyst Karen Delfs as the Jeffersonian tries to close the cases. The episode will also tackle Cam's latest romantic dalliance - will she go back to Arastoo or pursue Sebastian?
Producers of "Bones" hinted of about Cam's storyline in a TV Line interview and suggested that they are really trying to shake things up with the character. "Certainly, for a while, Arastoo is gone. He is off looking at other opportunities," said showrunner Michael Peterson. With Arastoo back during "Bones" Season 11 Episode 10 a "new and major"plot line will develop for Cam and it will begin to unfold in Episode 13.
