'NCIS' Season 13 Spoilers, Cast News & Update: Michelle Obama As Guest? Show Filming At The White House [TWEETS]

"NCIS" Season 13 will have a high-profile guest star in the form of Michelle Obama. Not only that, but filming of the episode is reportedly taking place within the White House. The show's star, Mark Harmon, was seen at the famous presidential residence on Sunday amidst tourists, press and protesters.

The Washington Post reports that Harmon was spotted by photojournalist, Greg Mathieson, in the White House. The actor allegedly told Mathieson that "NCIS" is set to film this week inside the building with First Lady Michelle Obama.

TV Line confirms with CBS that the "NCIS" cast and crew are in the state capital, but the network declined to reveal whether the First Lady's appearance or the White House filming is true. But the "NCIS" episode director, Dennis Smith, announced this as a fact in a Twitter post.

UPI reports that Michelle Obama will be filming her scene with Harmon and Pauley Perrette. Another Twitter account dedicated to everything that's going around at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue also posted Harmon's photo with the DC police:

Cinema Blend reports that no details have been released as to when the episode with Michelle Obama is airing, but viewers can tune to the show on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on CBS. Meanwhile, "NCIS" Season 13 will return for two more years as the network renewed the show in February.

"It's extraordinary that in its 13th season and with over 300 episodes to its credit, NCIS continues to excel at such a high level on a global scale," said CBS executive Glen Geller in announcing the renewal. "NCIS" has become the longest-running primetime show that is still currently on air today.
