Accomplished and award-winning actress Laura Linney had her first-born son with husband Mark Schauer in January 2014. Apart from her age, she kept her pregnancy a big secret, according to ABC News.

When the actress had to grace an event at the height of her pregnancy in June 2013, she made sure to wear a dress that hid her baby belly. However, she skipped the Emmy awards in September of that same year and missed receiving her acting trophy.

2. Halle Berry gave birth at 46.


Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry gave birth to her second child, a boy, in 2013. Her daughter was five at that time, but the actress managed to juggle her busy schedule. "You know, I'm working on a television show now, so I'm juggling working and being a mom and breast feeding while I'm working," she told E! Online.

3. Tina Fey gave birth at 40.

Comedienne, writer and producer Tina Fey had another daughter in 2011. She even joked of her hospital experience in a TV talk show.

Kelly Preston and her husband, John Travolta, had a son in 2010. It was a year following the death of their 16-year-old son, Jett. "I didn't [consider this risks.] I just considered that it was difficult," Preston said in an interview after her pregnancy, per Access Hollywood. "I never thought that would be me at all.
