"Jurassic World 2" has finally signed up "Penny Dreadful" director JA Bayona, after losing former director Colin Trevorrow to "Star Wars." While a new leaked "Jurassic World 2" poster seemed to have accompanied the news of JA Bayona's presence, the truth behind this was made public immediately after its release.
Den Of Geek reports that JA Bayona is joining "Jurassic World 2" fresh off of commitments from his current directorial project, "A Monster Calls." So, "Jurassic World 2" should have an interesting take given that JA Bayona's style lends largely to thrillers as seen in "The Impossible," "The Orphanage" and episodes on the TV series "Penny Dreadful."
JA Bayona was also supposed to direct the "World War Z" sequel, which stars Brad Pitt. Unfortunately, he had to give it up in favor of "A Monster Calls."

In the meantime, the mystery has been cleared over the supposed "Jurassic World 2" tease. The public went buzzing when a new poster that looked like a marketing collateral for the "Jurassic" franchise made the rounds.
The poster had a mysterious effect and seemed to point to the new title of "Jurassic World 2." A tagline of "Something is coming" seemed to support speculations.

CinemaBlend reports that clarifications were made immediately on social media about the "Jurassic World 2" poster. The poster was for a new website rather than for the "Jurassic World 2" film.

While more details are yet to come out on "Jurassic World 2," a few things that have already made the rounds include Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly still co-writing for this trilogy of the "Jurassic" franchise. The Indominus Rex may see some competition in a new villain as hinted by Hasbro's new merchandise for "Jurassic World 2."
Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt will return as leads. "Jurassic World 2" will hit theaters on July 22, 2018.
