Gary Sinise Wants A Wholesome Role In "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders"
Inquisitr reported that the Gary Sinise, the lead star of "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" want good old-fashioned roles. He wants to keep away from the crime drama cliches of the main series "Criminal Minds" and opts to have his role to be perfect and without any demons on his own.
Per the reports, Sinise's role in "CSI: NY" dealt with his own demons after being widowed during the Sept. 11 attack. For "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders," he wants to deal with the darkness of the other side, not on his own. The villains in "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" are already dark, so it is just proper to keep the darkness to the bad guys and not within the federal agency.
"We see the broken law enforcement guy all the time, dealing with his demons and his darkness," Sinise told the Sydney Morning Herald. "Our villains are dark enough, we want to see our law enforcement people as people that can wrestle with those demons on the other side, but they don't necessarily have those themselves."

In its parent series, "Criminal Minds" the characters are full of darkness and emotional complexities. The agents can't sleep due to duties and some concerns at the back of their head. They have their own personal issues to resolve. However, "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" will take a different stand. Sinise believes that there are successful law enforcement people who are able to maintain a successful and healthy family life and they will be showing this.
In fact, Sinise's character in "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders," Jack Garrett, is a successful husband and father. He will show the audience how he maintains his expertise in FBI while remaining to be a good father figure to his children and a loving husband to wife, who is his highschool sweetheart.
