Sony PlayStation Plus and Microsoft Xbox Live Gold subscribers should have a downright feast come May. The list of free games coming to PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold respectively this May has been released.
According to PlayStation.Blog, "Tropico 5" and "Table Top Racing: World Tour" lead the list for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Both "Tropico 5" and "Table Top Racing: World Tour" are PlayStation 4 games.

Other free games for May on PlayStation Plus are "Bionic Commando Rearmed 2," "LocoRoco Cocoreccho," "Switch Galaxy Ultra" and "God of War: Ghost of Sparta." "Bionic Commando Rearmed 2" and "LocoRoco Cocoreccho" are both PlayStation 3 games while "Switch Galaxy Ultra" is available for both PS4 and PS Vita.
"God of War: Ghost of Sparta" is a PSP and PS Vita title. The Mirror reports that Xbox Live Gold free titles for May include Xbox One titles "Defense Grid 2," "Sunset Overdrive" and "Costume Quest 2."

"Defense Grid 2" is free on Xbox Live Gold for the whole of May while "Sunset Overdrive" will continue to be free until May 15 only. Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to take advantage of "Costume Quest 2" from May 16 to June 16.
"Grid 2" for Xbox 360 makes the free games list on Xbox Live Gold from May 1 to May 15. One other Xbox 360 title, "Peggle" comes free on Xbox Live Gold from May16 to May 31.
These free games will only be available for Xbox Live Gold subsciptions. Trial memberships and Silver memberships will not be able to enjoy this benefit. PlayStation Plus gives more leeway to trial members.
