'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' Gameplay, News & Update: Illuminati Fight In New Eidos Interactive Game, Trailer Sneaks Peek Of New Augmentations

"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" by Eidos Interactive finally gave a taste of the new iteration where the cyberpunk-themed game will see Adam Jensen bring it to the Illuminati. The "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" trailer is as much a refresher as it is a tease of the highlighted split between the new "augmented" characters and humans.

This is the first major chunk of information and gameplay footage that Eidos Interactive released on "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided." Previous to this, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" only had an exposure in last year's E3.

According to The Verge, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" resumes the story of Adam Jensen in the nanotech future. This comes after the catastrophic events of "Deus Ex: Human Revolution."

In the "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" trailer, Adam Jensen displays his trademark grumpiness (though not about "never asking for this"). With some new toys and tech "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" players will no doubt have plenty of fun with to navigate challenges in creative ways.

In "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," the focus revolves once more around the split between humanity - the "pure" humans and the "augmented" humans. In true "Deus Ex" form, "augmented" humans will continue to bear the blame for the global chaos that ensued at the end of "Deus Ex: Human Revolution."

Jensen, being the "Adam" (or the first) of augmented soldiers is on the unpleasant end of this mindset. The "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" trailer this seemed to exhibit the animosity between Adam Jensen and his INTERPOL compatriots.

Besides story hints, the "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" trailer seems to suggest that the city of Prague will play in some significant manner. Set as it is in 2029, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" is certain to be heavy on technology.

Polygon reports that PS4, Xbox One and PC players can choose between the special package of the "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" Day One Edition, priced at $59.99. The "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" Collector's Edition set is priced at $139.99 and will bring in all the Day One offerings plus the game's Season Pass.

The Digital Deluxe Edition set is available for $89.99 and will include game's Season Pass. "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" will be released on August 23.
