After the much-anticipated release of "Street Fighter V" in February, Capcom quickly earned the ire of gamers for the lack of in-game content. However, the game publisher continuously made efforts for much-needed updates in the game.
The "Street Fighter V" March update brought some glitches to the game. Fortunately, Capcom released a major DLC patch on April 28 to fix those problems and here are 3 exciting changes, additions and fixes we found in the game.
1. "Street Fighter V" New DLC Character
The game servers for "Street Fighter V" went offline on Thursday, Apr. 28. The 10-hour maintenance was reportedly in preparation for the addition of the next DLC character, Guile.
Guile will also be free for "Street Fighter V" players until the game's virtual marketplace arrives. Guile is the second DLC character added to "Street Fighter V" after Alex. Other characters including Ibuki, Balrog, Juri and Urien are also expected to arrive in the game later this year.
2. The First New Stage In "Street Fighter V"
The latest 7.1 GB "Street Fighter V" patch also brought a new stage - the Air Force Base. Unfortunately, season pass holders were only the ones that can access the new stage for free while it will cost 70,000 "Street Fighter V" Fight Money when the in-game shop arrives.
3. Fixes And Balancing Changes In "Street Fighter V"
The latest "Street Fighter V" DLC patch also brought bug fixes and balancing changes. The changes were made to Ryu, Vega, Bison, Ken, Chun-Li, Cammy, Laura, Dhalsim, Karin, Necalli, Mika and Alex.
Aside from Guile and the fixes, the new Rage Quit penalty system will also be implemented in "Street Fighter V." The system will reportedly penalize players with force quit in a match.
With the new "Street Fighter V" penalty system, players will be banned from the matchmaking for a limited time. Meanwhile, additional new content will be coming to "Street Fighter V" in June, which will bring more extensive set of plots linked to the entire cast.
