Tom Clancy's "The Division" has recently disappointed a lot of gamers and fans after its 1.1 update brought several technical issues, including in-game bugs and exploits. That's why, game publisher Ubisoft Massive vowed that it will thoroughly test "The Division" 1.2 update before its release.
During the State of the Game livestream on May 4, Tom Clancy's "The Division" community developer Yannick Banchereau admitted the game's 1.1 update was tested but the process was not good enough. Fortunately, most the glitches have already been addressed.
"There was testing," Banchereau explained. "But obviously the process was not good enough because there are some bugs that made it through that shouldn't have."
It seems that developers had learned their mistakes in Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.1 update. So with the upcoming release of "The Division" next update, here are 3 interesting details about the game's 1.2 update.
1. Tom Clancy's 'The Division' 1.2 Update Release Date
Since Ubisoft Massive had learned so many things in the game's previous update, the game publisher announced they aren't disclosing any exact dates for Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.2 update's release. However, community developer Hamish Bode shared the upcoming "The Division" update is currently in the testing phase since they want it to be "rock-solid."
"The processes have been updated and we want to make sure 1.2 is really tested correctly and there are no obvious things that are making it through, so that's the reason why, so far, we're not giving any [release] dates," Banchereau said.
2. Tom Clancy's 'The Division' 1.2 Update's New Incursion
Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.2 update will bring the new incursion, "Broken Circle." The incursion is reportedly set in Columbus Circle and players will battle against the Rikers, one of the gangs who wanted to rule New York City, has used surface to air missile launchers to destabilize the Manhattan's airspace.
3. Tom Clancy's 'The Division' 1.2 Update Changes And Improvements
Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.2 update is reportedly a "generous update" that will bring significant changes and improvements into the game. The changes in "The Division" include on the items' quantity and quality received for all types of end-game activities.
Improvements, on the other hand, will be in "The Division" Gear Score Brackets. There will also be additions of top gear via supply drops and challenge mode in the Dark Zone.
