Teenagers With Experiences: 16-Year-Old Girl Launches Website To Help Teens Cope With Problems

Many teens find it difficult to get help for their teenage problems, experiences, fears and concerns. Fortunately, a 16-year-old girl from Bootle, U.K. has launched a useful website, called Teenagers With Experiences, in order to provide help for teenagers all over the world.

The innovative teenager and founder of the website, Emily Taylor, is a sixth grade student at Maghull High School. She currently runs the Teenagers With Experiences website and its different social media accounts with the help of a team of 30 volunteers.

So how does the Teenagers With Experiences website help teenagers cope with their problems? "It's basically a site for teenagers across the world to write their own articles to help people suffering from the same problems," Emily told Echo.

"There's mental health, including anxiety, OCD, anorexia, depression; sexuality and gender identity, looking at questions like am I gay or am I really this gender, and social issues, like friendship, bullying and family relationships," Emily shared. She also noted that Teenagers With Experiences has also helped her deal with her personal anxiety and her experiences with bullying.

Parents should also be involved in helping out their teens in dealing with their problems. "You can keep your relationship with your teenage child strong through ordinary, everyday activities," Raising Children shares. Despite their busy schedule, parents should make sure that they set a special time for their teens as much as possible.

However, many parents find it difficult to relate to their teens' experiences and problems. Parents can solve this issue by visiting Teenagers With Experiences and looking for articles that have similarities with their teens' personal problems.
