Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo Relationship Grows; ‘Descendants Of The Sun’ Actress To Work On A Project With Lee Kwang Soo?

"Descendants of the Sun" has officially come to an end, but fans are still rooting over its lead stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo. Reports on the Korean actors' growing connection are currently making rounds on the Internet, as Hye Kyo is reportedly working on the same project with Joong Ki's best friend, Lee Kwang Soo.

The connection between Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki can be traced back years before they starred in the hit Korean drama "Descendants of the Sun." Prior to the KBS drama, Hye Kyo starred in "That Winter The Wind Blows" with Jo In Sung in 2013.

As most fans know, Jo In Sung is a close friend of Song Joong Ki. There have been reports that Joong Ki visited In Sung during the filming of "TWTWB," which marked the beginning of Joong Ki and Hye Kyo's connection.

Now, fans are getting even more excited over reports that Joong Ki's best friend, Lee Kwang Soo will be collaborating on a project with Hye Kyo. In a Twitter post, Kwang Soo and Hye Kyo will reportedly be the new presenters for The Shilla Duty Free. It still remains to be seen, however, if these rumors are true.

If proven true, then this would mark Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's growing connection that goes beyond "DOTS" or beyond the cameras. Yonhap News Agency reports that several businesses are already aiming to get "hallyu" stars as their endorsers in hopes of attracting foreign travelers.

Song Hye Kyo has long been named a "hallyu" star following her successful dramas such as "Autumn in My Heart" and "Full House." Song Joong Ki, on the other hand, starred in the movie "Werewolf Boy," became one of the pioneer members of "Running Man" and broke the hearts of the audience in "Innocent Man."
