'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Release Date, News & Update: BioWare Confirms Release Date Delay For Vidoe Game; Details To Be Revealed During E3!

It seems like there is bad news to those who are fans and players of the well-received video game "Mass Effect" as news of its latest addition "Mass Effect: Andromeda" being delayed for 2017 was recently confirmed by game developer BioWare. In an official post by BioWare, Aaryn Flynn, the general manager of BioWare, confirmed the news about "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and also gave reason as to the delay of the video game.

Aaryn Flynn of BioWare said in a statement that they in BioWare "need the right amount of time to make sure we deliver everything the game can be and should be." Fans have not yet commented on the delay of "Mass Effect: Andromeda," but it could be totally understandable for many of the players of "Mass Effect" since BioWare promises that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will have "an unprecedented level of freedom" and "visuals, story, and gameplay that has never been done in franchise history."

An excerpt from the post says:

  • More Freedom: One of our biggest ambitions is to give players an unprecedented level of freedom for a Mass Effect experience -where you'll go, how you'll get there, and how you'll play.
  • New Uncharted Worlds: We're leaving the Milky Way behind and headed to Andromeda, where we'll meet new allies, confront new enemies, and explore fascinating new worlds.
  • The Next Great Mass Effect Experience: Mass Effect: Andromeda will be the first Mass Effect game for today's consoles and the first built on the Frostbite engine. We're pushing the technology to deliver visuals, story, and gameplay that have never been done in franchise history.

Despite that bad news, BioWare has some good news for those who have waited for a long time for "Mass Effect: Andromeda." They have announced that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be part of EA's EA Play press conference at the E3 2015 and fans are expected to hear more details about "Mass Effect: Andromeda."
