"The Winds of Winter" is the most anticipated book at the time. Unfortunately, George RR Martin has been delaying its release , but the celebrity author has been generous in giving hints about "TWOW" lately. According to new reports, Areo Hotah will return as a POV character.

New 'The Winds of Winter' Chapter Not Really New

Parent Herald previously reported that George RR Martin shared a new chapter for "The Winds of Winter" with characters that are either dead or not present in "Game of Thrones." In the said passage, he featured the viewpoint of Arianne Martell, the daughter of Doran Martell.

However, per First Post, the new chapter released for "The Winds of Winter" is not actually new, it was a predecessor of another excerpt posted over two years ago. You may check out the recent post here and the fist excerpt posted in 2013 here.

Areo Hotah To Return As A POV Character

Per GameNGuide, after George RR Martin announced on his blog that he released a new chapter for "The Winds of Winter" he engaged with his fans in the comment section by answering some of their queries. One fan asked if Areo Hotah will return and if he will add more Dornish POV besides Arianne and Areo in "TWOW."

"I have no plans to add additional Dornish POV. Yes, Areo Hotah will continue as a POV," George RR Martin responded. This is another big teaser for "The Winds of Winter." Per the report, Areo Hotah is is another character that the "Game of Thrones" showrunners killed on the show. However, Areo is still alive in "TWOW."

While some "The Winds of Winter" fans are into getting crucial details about the book, other fans were interested about Arianne because she is not in "Game of Thrones."

"The Winds of Winter" author made it clear that Arianne Martell has curves but she does not possess the body of a present day supermodel. While she is not petite, she does not have the body of a whale either.

George RR Martin is still mum about the release date of "The Winds of Winter." However, the book is expected to arrive before "Game of Thrones" season 7.
