But according to reports, "Supergirl" season 2 will be moving to The CW.

The first season of "Supergirl" has scored 75 out of 100 based on 33 reviews from critics. Meanwhile, the audience rated the first season with 5.4 out of 10 based on 553 reviews from viewers.
Meanwhile, the Rotten Tomatoes gave "Supergirl" an average score of 7.5 out of 10 with 97 percent approval rating based on move 2,000 voters. Meanwhile, 'per IMDB the series scored 6.4 out of 10 based on about 36,000 user votes. There is no doubt that "Supergirl" deserves another season.
'Supergirl' Season 2 Moves To The CW
"Supergirl" has found another home network. According to the Global Dispatch the upcoming season of "Supergirl" will be aired on The CW. Movie News Guide suggested that decision to move the show to The CW was to cut cost. In fact, Warner Bros has decided to move the production from Los Angeles to Vancouver.
Apart from the concern about the budget, the Global Dispatch notes that CBS doesn't want to take risks. The network's core demographic tends to skew older and the series is geared towards a younger audience, which is a possible reason why "Supergirl" is moved to The CW.
What To Expect In 'Supergirl' Season 2
According to "Supergirl" Season 2 producers Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler, the new season will be reflective of its past and how they are going to change their future. It will be emotional. "Supergirl" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg also told IGN that Project Cadmus would be a prominent figure in the "Supergirl" season 2.
"It's going to remain an evil, specter-y thing that's out there, but it's definitely something that we're going to pursue," Kreisberg told IGN. "It'll definitely be part of season 2."
Meanwhile, there are rumors about a potential crossover with "Arrow" and "The Flash" in "Supergirl" season 2. This report springs from Berlanti's previous statements. "From the day we cast Melissa [Benoist], the notion of her in scenes with Grant [Gustin] – or someday maybe in the best of all worlds with [Arrow star] Stephen [Amell], as well – it’s exciting to think of them on screen together," he told TVLine.
