Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie are calling off their divorce after a romantic getaway rekindled their relationship, sources say.
The couple vacationed to the Bahamas in mid-February to discuss the details of their split, but ended up tossing those plans to the wayside.
"Hilary and Mike hooked up when they were in the Bahamas," the source told RadarOnline.
"Once they were together with their son Luca in the Caribbean, it got emotional and real. Mike broke down and begged Hilary for a second chance," the source added.
Duff, 26, had no intention of giving the marriage a second chance, but evidently the Valentine's Day trip made her have a change of heart.
"They've been meeting for hookups ever since, and Hilary's softened and the two are moving forward to see if they can work it out," the insider revealed.
The couple, who wed in 2010 in Santa Barbara, started their break in January. The "Lizzie McGuire" star alleges that the separation stemmed from Comrie's, 33, lack of trying.
"She felt he didn't put enough effort into the relationship," a source told MailOnline.
They tried counseling for more than a year but "he wasn't doing any of the things they'd worked on."
But the "So Yesterday" singer is not jumping back into full-relationship mode again without establishing some grounds rules first.
"Hilary's one stipulation is that Mike step up to full-time parenting duties while she works on her new TV show and her music career," the source said.
Duff was seen shopping at Rag N Bone in West Hollywood on Tuesday, sans wedding ring; however, the pair was seen together out and about in L.A. with their 2-year-old son last week.
Duff is launching her next album and will star on the new series "Younger," written by "Sex and the City's" Darren Star, opposite Sutton Foster.
