Former couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale had an awkward reunion at the basketball game of their 9-year-old son on Wednesday. The "No Doubt" singer was seen not comfortable at all with the reunion.
Daily Mail said the former husband-and-wife for 13 years sat close to each other on the courtside as they watched Kingston play his game. The 46-year-old mom was seen looking bored and flipping her hair as if trying to avoid a conversation with her ex-husband as they sat on a bench.
Wearing high-waist jeans and boots, Stefani also tried to rest her head on her hand as she watched the basketball game. She also leaned forward at one point, appearing more uncomfortable with Rossdale near her.
It was noted by Hollywood Life that this is the first time that the English musician and singer were photographed together after they announced their divorce in 2015. When the game ended, the two were seen outside the Los Angeles venue talking with other parents.
They may have also seen each other last week as the same report said that Rossdale was seen driving from his house "upset." The public is still wondering the reason for their split though rumors circles that the husband cheated on Stefani.
After they separated, New York Daily News said the couple decided to share custody of their three kids - Kingston, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2. It did not take a long time before Stefani found new love in fellow The Voice coach Blake Shelton.
In November last year, the country singer and Stefani confirmed that they were dating. Shelton, just like her girlfriend, just came from a fresh split from her wife Miranda Lambert.
Both singers admitted that they understood what each was going through. "This thing just happened. It saved my life. Period," Shelton was quoted by New York Daily News as saying.
