E3 2016: Presentation Dates, Major Announcements, Game Title Rumors You Need To Know

The annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) receives thousands of visitors every June at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Game developers and publishers, distributors and merchants, journalists and gaming enthusiasts check out different products for three days during the event to find out about upcoming releases and the latest in gaming technology.

Each yearly E3 will be marked by press conferences from different gaming companies. This year's event happens June 14 to 16. Below is a roundup of the presentation dates and expected announcements, as well as game title rumors that are supposed to be launched during the E3.

E3 2016 Game Developers Presentation

Although E3 2016 officially runs for three days, some will be making their presentations days ahead. On Sunday, June 12, Electronic Arts is going to be the first to present next door at Club Nokia, where fans can see the actual anticipated "Battlefield 1" in action, per Game Spot.

On the same day, Bethesda will have a presentation of its popular lineups: "Fallout 4," "Dishonored 2," "Doom" and "The Elder Scrolls Online." The developer is also expected to unveil two previously unannounced titles for the first time.

On June 13, Monday, Ubisoft will present "Watch Dogs 2," "Ghost Recon Wildlands" and also an unannounced AAP IP title. On the other hand, Square Enix will be showing the following game in its booth: "Final Fantasy XV," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "Hitman" and "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided."

E3 2016 Major Game Companies Press Conference

Microsoft will be making its Xbox press conference on Monday, June 13 at the Galen Center. Thurrot reports that the company is likely announcing its newest game console at the E3 2016, which should finally put a stop to all the speculations about the unit. It will also be making presentations for games like "Crackdown 3," "ReCore," Forza Horizon 3" and "Sea of Thieves."

Not to be outdone, Sony is also going to make its PlayStation presentation later in the day. The PlayStation VR is expected to be discussed, as well as updates on the PS4.5 or PS NEO, per VG247. Expected games at the Sony booth include "The Last Guardian," "Gravity Rush 2" and "Horizon: Zero Dawn."

On the other hand, Nintendo is going to make its presentation on Tuesday, June 14. As the company announced in April, the sole focus for the E3 2016 will be "Legend of Zelda," per Kotaku. There will be no console presentation for Nintendo NX.
