There is no doubt that many are waiting for MacBook Pro 2016. The anticipated laptop was initially expected to arrive in March 2016, alongside MacBook Air 2016 but both were a no show in Apple's Spring event. Despite the wait, according to reports, the new MacBook Pro will sport new features that users will surely enjoy.
MacBook Pro 2016 To Sport New Features
Much is expected from MacBook Pro 2016 and if reports are true, Apple customers will not be disappointed because the new laptop is expected to feature a Touch ID and new OLED display touch bar.
"While long overlooked, the MacBook line is the brightest spot for Apple's 2016 rollouts. This is particularly true of the two new MacBook Pro models, to be introduced in 4Q16, as they will have a thinner and lighter form factor, Touch ID, use OLED display touch bar (to replace physical function keys, located above the keyboard) and adopt USB- C / Thunderbolt 3," per MacRumors.
Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI Securities analyst believes that the new MacBook Pro updates are the biggest and most significant upgrade from Apple. Its new thin and light design is made possible by the new metal injection mold-made hinges and butterfly-mechanism keyboards that are introduced in its 12-inch MacBook.
New MacBook To End MacBook Air
Apple has been keeping their customers busy with their MacBook updates while keeping things about MacBook Pro and MacBook Air under wraps. According to Apple Insider, the company is planning to launch a 13-inch MacBook in the third quarter of the year and experts foresee the doom of MacBook Air. According to the report, there are chances that the MacBook Air upgrade will stagnate.
However, if the updates come to pass and Apple chooses to keep MacBook Air, the company will maintain a delineated three-tier structure with MacBook Pro leading as the all-out performer laptop, MacBook taking the lead in portability and MacBook Air taking the budget device.
MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 are expected to arrive next month at Apple's WWDC. However, Apple Insider suggests that the new MacBook Pro might not be ready until the fourth quarter of the year.
