The final episode of "Supernatural" Season 11 has once again put the Winchester boys in harm's way, and it looks like Sam Winchester might be dead AGAIN, thanks to Lady Antonia Bevell and The Men of Letters. But why has Mary Winchester returned and reunited with Dean? What will happen in "Supernatural" Season 12?
"Alpha And Omega" Recap
In the "Supernatural" Season 11 finale (via Celeb Dirty Laundry), Sam and Dean Winchester decide on a last-ditch effort to defeat Amara and save the dying sun: a human bomb made up of thousands of souls. Unfortunately, they also decide that the human bomb should be Dean. But instead of using the bomb on Amara (and effectively killing himself AGAIN), Dean convinces her to make things work with her brother Chuck/God. Amara and Chuck disappear for some much-needed quality time together and the sun is healed.
Unfortunately, the "Supernatural" Season 11 finale doesn't end there. When Sam and Castiel return to the bunker in "Alpha and Omega," they are met by Lady Antonia Bevell. Toni makes Castiel disappear then pulls a gun at Sam, who she believes is a threat to the Men of Letters and the rest of mankind. Sam demands to know who she is and ends up getting shot.
Was That Mary Winchester?
In the "Supernatural" Season 11 finale, Dean Winchester has ended up in the woods and he hears a familiar voice. Is that their mother Mary Winchester? Has Amara brought Mary Winchester back from the dead? But what about Sam Winchester, who thinks he could be dying AGAIN?
What Will Happen In "Supernatural" Season 12?
It's beginning to look like "Supernatural" Season 12 could pit Sam and Dean Winchester (if Sam survives) against Lady Antonia Bevell and the Men of Letters London chapter. But why are the Men of Letters after Sam and Dean Winchester? The truth will be revealed when "Supernatural" Season 12 airs on The CW later this year.
