Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin called it quits after more than three years of marriage. After denying their separation several times, Kailyn Lowry confirmed their split while she was running errands.

Kailyn Lowry confirmed their split stating that she and Javi did their best to work it out for their kids. During her interview with Daily Mail, she said their intention to move forward with their divorce is final.

It was noted that Kailyn was the one who made the first move that rocked their marriage as she was getting in touch with her past flames while Javi was deployed. As for the other side of the story, it was mentioned that Javi Marroquin was allegedly cheating on her with someone from work.

Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin tied the knot in January 2013. They both share 1-year-old son Lincon and Kailyn's 6-year-old son, Isaac. Though Isaac was from Kailyn Lowry's past relationship, Javi treated him like his own.

Robert E. Emery, PhD pointed out the significant impact of divorce on children. He emphasized the negative effects of divorce on children especially if they cannot stay with the parent they are attached to.

Emery noted that divorce is highly stressful for young children wherein he explained the effects on his website, Emery on Divorce. Not only does it have a negative impact on the child, it can also lead to broken relationships and anxiety, especially among young children.

Divorce can potentially affect the child's psychological health. Though there are several negative impacts that divorce can affect the child, as long as the parents would work together, it can be taken into positive light.
