Fathers may be good at sports and outdoor activities but they usually suck in hairstyling, especially when it comes to their daughters. But a single dad has recently inspired a lot of parents by proving to the world that fathers can be awesome in hairstyling too!
In a Facebook video shared by Upworthy on May 20, Greg Wickherst shared his story and experiences as single father who raised his daughter Izzy on his own. Despite admitting his struggles as a single parent, he said fatherhood is the best thing that ever happened to him.
Wickherst, who's an admissions officer at a school with cosmetology department, also shared that he really wanted to do his daughter's hair. Unfortunately, he was having trouble even when just doing a ponytail.
Feeling useless, Wickherst decided to study hairstyling and spent an hour and a half to learn various hairstyles on a mannequin - from ponytail, French and waterfall braid. Today, Wickherst has been sharing his knowledge on his Facebook page, Greg Wickherst's Dads Guide to Surviving Hair, which aims to help other parents who are having some dilemmas styling their daughter's hair.
Meanwhile, the Facebook video already have more than 2.8 million views. It has also been shared more than 18,000 times and with over 76,700 comments, most of which were positive ones.
