"Fallout 4 Far Harbor" DLC gamers on the PlayStation 4 are hoping that Bethesda would speed up the development of the game's patch. The company is besieged with complaints that the recently released DLC is full of bugs. Worse, the patch update on the PS4 is taking longer than in Xbox One. Hence, players have to contend with a buggy gameplay. But what can they expect once this is released?
It's been one tough ride for "Fallout 4 Far Harbor" DLC on the PlayStation and reports that game on the PS4 is quite inferior to the Xbox One release is true. However, Gamespot cited that this issue has been known since before the game arrived in stores. As it was pointed out in an advanced review, the game's "alpha transparency effects" is causing the problem. It's noticeable even to Xbox One players, but it's the PS4 gamers who experience the worst of the fluctuations.
To appease players, Bethesda promised it will come out with a "Fallout 4 Far Harbor" DLC patch update to correct the problem for the Xbox One and PS4. The patch for the Xbox will roll on May 31, but PS4 players might have to wait a while longer.
Bethesda said this will be done in June and the date has not yet changed, per PlayStation Lifestyle. The company also announced on Twitter that it has already submitted the DLC patch to Sony for approval.
The "Fallout 4 Far Harbor" DLC patch update will give gamers the access to create their own Bethesda.net account. They can also begin downloading content and mods created by other fans. However, mods will have a 2GB limit per player and some achievements might not be unlocked of these mods are installed, per Express.
