"Sense8" Season 2 will have "more sex, more violence, more of everything," teased Max Riemelt in a recent interview with Buzzfeed. Riemelt, who plays the role of Wolfgang in the Netflix drama, shared that they are all out for "pushing the boundaries" in the upcoming season.
While there might have been a couple of casting shakeups and behind-the-scenes drama, the cast admitted that they hoped fans would focus on the upcoming season instead. Tuppence Middleton told the outlet that fans can definitely look forward to "stranger things" in "Sense8" Season 2.
As most fans of the Netflix drama know, "Sense8" Season 2 will see a different actor play the role of Capheus after Aml Ameen decided to exit the series in the middle of production. Toby Onwumere will be taking over his role for the rest of the season.
"Sense8" Season 2 will also be directed by Lana Wachowski alone after her sister, Lilly, decided to take a break after recently coming out as transgender. Meanwhile, several set photos for the upcoming season, which showed the cast in a gay parade, were released online.
According to AllKpop, actress Bae Doona was slammed on social media after posting a photo of herself on a float at the gay parade in Sao Paulo. Many fans criticized the actress for attending the said event and blamed her appearance in "Sense8" as the reason behind the actress' actions.
Others, however, came to Doona's defense and said that there is nothing wrong with attending a gay parade, much more if she was doing it for the sake of "Sense8" Season 2. Doona's agency has also responded to the negative comments and said that the actress "did not attend the parade on her personal time."
