The superhero flicks in The CW might find present fans a new tandem. There are rumors that "Supergirl" and "The Flash" could be sweethearts. Do you agree that the two extraordinary individuals will be a good pair?
'The Flash' Willing To Get Romantic With 'Supergirl'
"Supergirl" Season 2 has found a new home. Parent Herald reported that the new season of "Supergirl" would be airing on The CW after moving from CBS. With this, many fans believe that "Supergirl" and "The Flash" will be a good tandem. In fact, some reports claim that there's a potential crossover for the two TV series.
"The Flash" star Grant Gustin confirmed that there will be more crossover in the coming days. "We had a really fun dynamic, and I think next year, there's probably more crossovers than we've ever had," Gustin told DC All Access per Newsarama.
Grant is also open to having "The Flash" being romantically involved with "Supergirl." "I think [Barry and Kara] would make a great couple," he said, when asked if romance is in the air for the two superheroes.
'Supergirl' Thinks Romance With 'The Flash' Is Unlikely
While Grant thinks Kara and Barry would make a great pair, the "Supergirl" star Melissa Benoist thinks otherwise. "I don't know that they'd ever get together. I think they're too similar. I think they'd like pig out on..I think they're pals, pigging out on ice cream," Benoist said about the potential "Supergirl" and "The Flash" romance."
CinemaBlend also believes that it is best for the two superheroes to just be friends. Kara and Barry have their own love interest. "Supergirl" just landed with the man of her dreams James Olsen. Meanwhile, "The Flash" has been involved with Iris but their romance struggles to progress.
"She's really, really strong, and he's really, really fast. I just...the mind boggles. BE THAT AS IT MAY, I agree that Kara and Barry are besties more than anything else," said the Mary Sue if the two superheroes will be together sex-wise.
