Who would have thought that Common, a 44-year-old famous hip hop artist, actor, film producer and poet, will be having some outfit issues with his teenage daughter? During his TV guesting in "Live With Kelly," Common opened up about his struggles when raising his 18-year-old daughter.
According to Common, his daughter recently attended a Beyoncé concert in Chicago. While his trying his best to be a cool dad, allowing her to be open and free, his daughter's choice of clothing at the concert unfortunately didn't make him happy. In fact, the "Selma" actor explained that his daughter wore a revealing dress that he didn't seem to approve at all.
With Common's outfit dilemma with his teenage daughter, the show's host Kelly Ripa gave Common a piece of advice she read from the book titled, "Untangled: Guiding Teenage Girls Through the Seven Transitions into Adulthood." As per Ripa, Common should explain to his daughter that her choice of clothing might send a wrong message, despite looking "glamorous and beautiful."
Meanwhile, aside from the challenges of raising a teenage daughter, Common also admitted that his daughter isn't exactly a fan of his music. As a matter of fact, his daughter was very honest to tell him that she prefers to listen to Chance the Rapper and Beyoncé.
