"Suicide Squad" Producer Reveals New Details About Mysterious New Villains

The trailer for "Suicide Squad" has already offered glimpses at Task Force X taking on strange opponents covered in black goo. "Suicide Squad" producer Charles Roven has just shared with Total Film Magazine (via ComicBook) that the creatures are called the Eyes of the Adversary and they are one of the first things Task Force X encounters in the film. In addition to that, Charles Roven confirmed that the villains might be from the military. But who are the Eyes of the Adversary working for?

Are The Eyes Of The Adversary Working For Jared Leto's Joker?

Although it might be interesting to see how Jared Leto's Joker will manage to control the mysterious black goo-covered villains, fans already suspect that the Eyes of the Adversary are minions of Enchantress. Cara Delevingne's "Suicide Squad" character has long been rumored to be the big bad in the DCEU film, and Enchantress has even been seen bathing in black goo in the trailer (via MoviePilot). It certainly looks like Cara Delevingne's Enchantress may be powerful enough to enchant the military into bending to her will and may be responsible for Suicide Squad's first mission.

"Suicide Squad" is directed by David Ayer and also stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Floyd Lawton/Deadshot and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. The film will finally arrive in theaters on August 5.
