"Prison Break" Season 5 spoilers reveal that Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is alive despite being electrocuted during the Season 4 finale. In a recent interview with Deadline, Dominic Purcell revealed the reason behind Michael's sudden disappearance.
Purcell revealed that Michael's disappearance has something to do with his connection with ISIS and ISA. Michael will end up in a prison in Yemen in "Prison Break" Season 5 because he no longer wanted to work for the aforementioned organizations.
"Honestly, the fans are going to be blown away by this," he said. "It's really a riveting, high-tension thriller."
Purcell also shared details about his on-set injuries, which gave him a fatal blow to the head. According to Purcell, he sustained the injuries while they were filming a prison breakout in Yemen for the "Prison Break" revival.
Meanwhile, a recent post from the Prison Break Writers on Twitter seemingly hints of an emotional "Prison Break" Season 5. A fan asked whether they would be needing tissues for the Fox revival.
This led to speculations that the "Prison Break" revival will ultimately end up with Michael's true death. It is also possible that the upcoming episodes will be an emotional one because of the anticipated reunion between Michael and his son with Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies).
