The very secretive "Jurassic World 2" is expected to bring on more horror than previous "Jurassic" arcs under "Penny Dreadful" director JA Bayona. Starring "Guardians Of The Galaxy" actor Chris Pratt as Owen Grady and "Black Mirror" star Bryce Dallas Howard as Caire Dearing, "Jurassic World 2" is expected to take risky measures under JA Bayona.
Cinema Blend points out that "Penny Dreadful" director JA Bayona inherits great expectations after "Jurassic World" made $1.6 billion at the global box office. Although fans would expect a name from the big league roster to take over from Colin Trevorrow for "Jurassic World 2," the media outlet points out that JA Bayona and the "Star Wars: Episode IX" share a similarity.
Colin Trevorrow signed on for "Jurassic World" as a relatively unknown director, which should build up confidence for JA Bayona, who not only directed for "Penny Dreadful" but, is also known for "The Orphanage" and "A Monster Calls."
"Jurassic World 2" would be worth the wait if only to see how JA Bayona will lend his horror trademark as in "The Orphanage" and his "Penny Dreadful" episodes. "Jurassic World 2" would also benefit from JA Bayona's take of the tsunami disaster movie "The Impossible," which skilfully combined suspense, despair and hope to honor those affected by the Thai calamity.
As cited by Entertainment Weekly, Colin Trevorrow highlighted how "Jurassic World 2" will expand from being a simple exhibit of dinosaur creations through InGen Technology as in the previous films. Movie Pilot reports that instead Colin Trevorrow points to the application of the InGen science outside of the entertainment sphere beginning from "Jurassic World 2."
Colin Trevorrow also hinted that "Jurassic World 2" will explore the consequences and impact of re-creating an extinct species and cultivating a "relationship" with them. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will remain closely linked to the mayhem of "Jurassic World 2."
"Jurassic World 2" will reveal the new plot under JA Bayona on June 22, 2018. "Jurassic World 2" is the second film in the trilogy of the reinvented "Jurassic Park."
