[VIDEO] A ‘Walk Of Love’! Watch How A Mom Honored Her 5-Year-old Daughter’s Memory.

It is already a known fact that any parent will do everything for his or her children. But what would a parent do if he or she suddenly lost a child? How can they make life more bearable after a tragedy?

Those questions were perhaps on Natalia Spencer's mind when her 5-year-old daughter, Elizabeth, died on Dec. 10, 2015 after spending 18 days on life support at Bristol Children's Hospital due to a serious immune condition called hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis. Because of this life-threatening illness, Elizabeth suffered from a septic shock, causing her organs to shut down, stopping the blood supply to her extremities.

Despite her loss, Natalia Spencer planned an amazingly inspiring mission called "Walk of Love," to honor her daughter's memory and to learn to cope with the tragedy. According to Today, Spencer's "Walk of Love" was a 6,000-mile trek along the British coastline and it was her way to honor her daughter who was so fond of the sea and the beach.

Spencer reportedly started her journey on Valentine's Day at Durdle Door in Dorset, England, the last beach Elizabeth visited before she became sick. The walk did not only give Natalia Spencer a time to cope with grief, it also helped her raise about $144,000 (£100,000) for the Bristol Children's Hospital to make treatment accessible for another family.

"The walk gives me something structured to focus my mind on and enables me to cope," Spencer said. "The walk has shown me that something so tragic can bring people together from all walks of life and that some good has come out of this awful personal loss,"
