There have been rumors that the Men of Letters will be the villains in "Supernatural" Season 12 seeing how Season 11 finale ended with Lady Toni shooting Sam. Aside from the Men of Letters' participation in Season 12, it also remains to be seen how Mary Winchester's return will affect Sam and Dean.
In an interview with TVLine, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles revealed that they are both excited to see how Mary's return will bear consequences for the Winchester brothers. Padalecki, however, told the publication that Dean seems to need more of a closure with Mary than Sam in "Supernatural" Season 12.
"I'm anxious to see how that [surprise return] pans out," said Ackles.
