Arya Stark has never forgotten her infamous kill list since her father Ned died at the orchestration of King Joffrey. In the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 finale on Sunday, Arya finally crossed another big name on her kill list -- Walder Frey, who was one of the schemers behind the Red Wedding event in Season 4 that killed Catelyn and Robb Stark.
In the Season 6 finale titled "The Winds of Winter," Arya disguised herself as a servant girl using her Faceless Men skills while Walder complains about the absence of his two sons at the dinner table. Arya reveals that the two are with him at the hall, and have been made into pies that he was eating. Walder attempted to escape Arya's wrath but she slit his throat open, the same way her mother Catelyn was killed at the Red Wedding.
The death of Walder is definitely a momentous event in Arya's quest for revenge, but Maisie Williams said her headstrong character is far from getting to the end of her kill list. In a brief interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 19-year-old actress talked about the surviving names in Arya's kill list for "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
The Remaining Names
Williams ticked off four names during her chat with EW. The first name, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), is expected for quite some time now given that she was the one who had Ned arrested.
Second is the red priestess Melisandre (Carice van Houten), who took Arya's friend Gendry (Joe Dempsie) from the Brotherhood Without Banners in exchange for gold. Gendry is the unacknowledged bastard son of the deceased King Robert Baratheon.
During their short encounter in Season 3, Melisandre prophesized that Arya would kill plenty of people and that their paths would cross again. Given that the Red Woman's first prediction is finally coming true, the second prophecy won't be a far-off possibility now.
Third in Arya's kill list is Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane (Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson), who has been reanimated by Qyburn (Anton Lesser). And finally Ser Ilyn Payne (Wilko Johnson) for beheading her father at the instruction of King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson).
What's Next For Daenerys
The Season 6 finale also featured Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) finally heading to Westeros to claim the Iron Throne. Other queens won't stand a chance against Dany's great power; she has dragons, the Dothraki and the Unsullied.
When asked about how Dany's return to Westeros will impact Queen Cersei's rule, Clarke told EW that "anything's possible" and the Mother of Dragons will certainly be "bringing the heat." Clarke also said that Dany meeting her nephew Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is in the cards now. "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will air in 2017.
