The catfishing scandal involving Kody Brown's first wife, Meri Brown, has been a topic in the seventh season of "Sister Wives." In the Tell-All episode of the reality series, Meri's daughter, Mariah, revealed she knew about her mother's affair from the beginning. Meanwhile, Kody said it is now time to stop having kids.
Meri Was Warned
Mariah admitted that she knew what was going on with her mother when she started having an online affair to the fake Sam Cooper. The 21-year-old said she warned her mother and tried to stop it, but to no avail. "From the very beginning I knew that was happening.... I tried to tell her and I tried to make it not happen and she just did it anyway.... She didn't listen to me," Mariah said, per Us Weekly.
Kody believes the legal divorce between him and Meri left created an emotional gap, which is one of the reasons Meri was swept into an online relationship. But Kody doesn't consider it as an emotional affair, nor does he think of it as an act of infidelity.
Baby Ariella As The Last Brown Baby
This season of "Sister Wives" featured the birth of baby Ariella, Kody's child with Robyn. But after having 18 children now, Kody said he might stop having children. "I'm old enough that I think it's time for me to grow up and stop having children," the 47-year-old said.
Meanwhile, another wave of rumors is making rounds about Kody considering having two new wives and divorcing his current four wives (Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn), as reported by Hollywood Life. Two names emerged, Amber and Mindy Jessop, who are related to the Brown family. Whether that's true or not, perhaps fans would find out in the next season.
"Sister Wives" Season 7 wrapped last Sunday with a Tell-All episode.
