'Narcos' Season 2 Latest Spoilers & Release Date: Upcoming Episodes Is Just The Beginning, Action-Packed Run Will Lead to Bigger Events

"Narcos" season 2 is finally coming back to Netflix on Sept. 2, 2016 and avid viewers can't wait. Spoilers about the upcoming run are hinting some exciting developments that fans shouldn't miss.

After the fast-paced season 1, audiences are left to wonder what will happen in "Narcos" season 2. While it is highly likely that fans will see the death of drug kingpin Pablo Escobar, producers of the well-received series are hinting that it doesn't end when Escobar's dies.

In fact, new reports are suggesting that his death will be used to introduce other facets of drug trade in the U.S. and Latin America. Does this confirm a "Narcos" season 3?

"Season 2 is a lot about, of course, the fall of Escobar and the fall of the Medellín cartel, and the rise of the Cali cartel," series composer Pedro Bromfman said, as reported by iDigital Times. "We start meeting a lot of new characters in Season 2, and we start understanding how the situation expanded from Medellín to Cali and everything that took place."

"It just shifts places, but it keeps moving. As long as there's people buying drugs, there'll be bad guys trying to provide them and killing people and doing things," he continued. "As long as they are illegal, and as long there are people interested in them, apparently there's no stopping it. Now it's in Mexico, but it did go around. It did go around for a long time."

Meanwhile, other "Narcos" season 2 spoilers hint that the upcoming run starring Wagner Moura, Pedro Pascal and Boyd Holbrook will be more action-packed than the previous season. As Moura said in an interview, "It's all about Pablo on the run....It's from the day Pablo escapes to his death," Entertainment Weekly noted.
