Ubisoft announced the game's servers to be offline for about 3 hours of maintenance on all platforms just before "The Division" Update 1.3 hits PlayStation 4.
"The Division" Update 1.3 has recently been released on PlayStation 4 following its release on Xbox One and PC just last week. The original plan was to launch "The Division" Update 1.3 on all platforms at the same time as cited on GameSpot. However, Ubisoft delayed it on Sony's system for some reason. In addition, a new update has also arrived for all platforms, fixing some bugs.
Tom Clancy's 'The Division' 1.3 Patch Details Plus New Weapons And Gear Sets
Nevertheless, the new PS4 update does not actually unlock the Underground expansion of "The Division". The Underground expansion is already available on PC and Xbox One, but it will be available on PS4 this coming August 2, 2016. Downloadable Game Content (DLC) for "The Division" has already launched first on Xbox One and PC per timed-exclusivity arrangement Ubisoft and Microsoft.
On top of the weapon balance changes and bug fixes in "The Division" Update 1.3, this latest update for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 automatically fixes a bug in which High Value Target NPCs were capped incorrectly at a max level of 30. The High Value Targets that were not dropping any Target Intel is another problem which has been fixed.
Other Features of 'The Division' 1.3 Update
The following are two other fixes that are included with the new update for all platforms:
- Fix a bug where players that died after defeating the final encounter will be able to repeat it as well as be able to gain loots again
- Fix instances of server instability which could actually lead to players being disconnected from the game.
