New reports are starting to look up for "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4. After several speculations claiming that the highly anticipated "Rise of the Tomb Raider" might not make it to the Sony console, recent reports now suggest that the Square Enix title will be released during this year's Holiday season.
'Rise of the Tomb Raider' Holiday Launch?
iTech Post recently noted that Crystal Dynamics' studio head, Darrell Gallagher, claimed that a Holiday 2016 launch could still be very likely. While no other details were offered, the very late release could still disappoint gamers as the Xbox One version was released more than a year ago before its rumored "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 launch.
According to latest reports, analysts are wary of its impending release on the PS4. If sources are right, experts fear that "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 will not make a huge impact when it is released, because of the long wait fans had to endure.
'Rise of the Tomb Raider' Fans Expectations
While not a lot has been disclosed about the rumored "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 launch this year, fans are already guessing on the kind of graphics it will have. In a Reddit forum, avid gamers are suggesting that the new PS4 game could come in 1080p 60fps.
"Tomb Raider Definitive Edition: Xbox One- 900p 30fps PS4- 1080p unlocked FPS (average top 50s, easily reached 60 at many points)," user Macintoshk commented. "Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox One- 1080p (30% more pixels than 900p) and stable 30fps PS4- if optimized well, we can expect top notch 60 fps gameplay or at least an unlocked frame rate that typically stays in the top 50s. 4 more months to go."
"I do hope they at least have an option to leave frame rate unlocked," user The_White_Injun seconded on the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 forum. "I know some people prefer a locked 30 over a varying number but I'd rather have higher fps than a stable 30.
