'The Elder Scrolls 6' is one of the anticipated titles to date. Fans of the "The Elder Scrolls" series are very excited to get their hands on the upcoming title. However, the wait might be long because Peter Hines revealed that "TES 6" is still not in development.
'The Elder Scrolls 6' Not Yet In Development
For "TES" fans who have been yearning to play the next installment of the franchise, you will be disappointed with this report. According to recent "The Elder Scrolls 6" news, the title is not yet in development.
According to Yibada, Bethesda's vice president of PR and Marketing Pete Hines disclosed that "The Elder Scrolls 6" is not yet in the works. The anticipated title is in the backseat while the game developers are occupied with other major titles. However, Hines guarantees that there will be "The Elder Scrolls 6."
Bethesda To Start 'The Elder Scrolls 6' Development
Per Christian Times, prior to Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016, Bethesda announced that they will be releasing new information about "The Elder Scrolls 6." Fans were very excited to hear new updates about the game, but only to hear that the team will be developing the game and that fans have to wait a bit longer.
The "The Elder Scrolls" director Todd Howard told Kitguru that it would take time to develop the next sequel of the franchise. "It's a very long way off," said Howard. "It's something that's going to take a lot of time, what we have in mind for that game."
Howard also admitted that the team is working on other two major projects before they release "The Elder Scrolls 6." Thus, "TES 6" will surely be in the backseat while Bethesda works on the first two titles.
Per Hines, the upcoming two projects will have the size of "Fallout 4" and "Skyrim." Meanwhile, Bethesda will release a remastered version of their current game, "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" on Oct. 28 for PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
